The Senior Citizen Recognition Day is held annually during the summer months at the Independence Grove Forest Preserve in Libertyville.  Many agencies as well as the townships assist the Lake County Board in sponsoring this event.

Food, beverages, prizes, entertainment, services and information booths create a fun filled day which is provided free to all Lake County Seniors.
