DIAL-A-RIDE BUS:  For the convenience of passengers who require aid in boarding, the bus is equipped with a hydraulic wheelchair lift.  Just call 1-800-244-7223,  24 hours in advance to go anywhere in Antioch, Avon, Grant, or Lake Villa Township.   The bus service runs Monday through Friday and you must register with Dial-A-Ride to use this service.
There is a fee to ride this bus.

TRAIN: The RTA Senior Ride Free  Program is for senior citizens age 65 and older. Applications are processed in the Supervisor's office for the RTA Pass that will allow riding train and CTA Fixed bus routes for no charge. One of The following forms of identification is needed to process an application: Driver's License, State of Illinois Identification Card, passport, or U.S. Immigration Alien Registration Card. The Supervisor's Office will take your picture at the time of your application free of charge to township residents.  Processing will take approximately three weeks.
